WordPress core and your plugins. We test after each one and roll back if something misbehaves. Your server and its security patches sit with our hosting provider, so the whole stack stays current.

Every few years the PHP version your site runs on hits end of life and stops getting security patches. At that point your site needs upgrading to stay secure and compatible. It is separate work, from £800 + VAT per website, and we will flag it long before it is urgent. No surprise invoices.

Most business mailboxes sit with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, so a website move does not touch them. If your email is hosted with your current web host, tell us early. That needs planning and it is not included as standard.

You email or call the person who looks after your site. That is it. No ticket number, no first-line script, no explaining your website from scratch to someone who has never seen it. We are here Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. Uptime monitoring runs around the clock, so if your site falls over at 2am we will usually know before you do. We just will not be fixing it until morning, unless you have asked us about out-of-hours cover.

No, and we would rather be upfront about that than imply otherwise. We monitor uptime and act on issues during working hours, and we apply updates and rollbacks to keep your site healthy. If your site is business-critical and needs out-of-hours cover, tell us and we will talk options.

We target a 99% average uptime and monitor every site around the clock, on infrastructure with a 99.9% uptime commitment at server level. Our 99% is an average backed by monitoring, not a contractual guarantee with penalty clauses, and we think being honest about the difference matters.

We are alerted by uptime monitoring, and we can restore from backups quickly. On plans with malware scanning, sites are scanned regularly, with quarantine and clean-up if something gets through.

Plans start at £75 a month per website, excluding VAT: £75 for a standard brochure site, £149 for eCommerce and larger sites, and from £799 with development time bundled in. Moving a site to us is a separate fixed fee, quoted per website. Charities and non-profits can ask about discounted rates.
