The Brief

Sheffield loves its football. We helped turn that passion into one of Yorkshire’s standout tournament destinations at the Devonshire Green fan zone.

The Campaign

We ran PR for Fan City through England’s Euro 2024 run and into its 2026 World Cup activity, leaning on football heritage, city pride, live entertainment and a few very familiar faces. Chris Waddle, Tony Currie and Danny Wilson all added nostalgia, credibility and personality to the mix.

The campaign drew strong Yorkshire coverage across news, sport, what’s on and lifestyle, positioning Fan City as a proper city centre event brand. Hits included BBC, Yorkshire Live, Exposed Magazine, Sheffield Magazine and Sheffield City Council channels.

The Results

Final tally: 36 pieces of regional and local coverage, an estimated 310,000 online views, an average domain authority of 49 and around £205,000 in media value.
